Library Staff Presidential Awardees

                     Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation celebrates President’s Night on February 14, 2017 at the University Gymnasium.

          This event recognized and honored MSEUF employees who have been in the University for 10 – 59 years. Some of the recipient of the presidential awards were the library staff namely: Liberato Albacea (Service award – 14 years), Rosario Villamater (Service award – 15 years), Carolina Engaña (Service Award – 24 years), Buenafe dela Puerta (Silver Service Award – 25 years), Roger Ibias (Silver Service Award – 25 years), Marisa Mahiya (Pearl Service Award – 37 years) and Marietta Enverga (Ruby Service Award- 43 years).

          They were given a plaque of recognition and cash incentives depending on the number of years they served. Other Enverga employees enjoyed the glamourous event in their formal gown and suits.

           Madame Naila Leveriza, the University President expressed her delight seeing the employees in their formal attire and dashing looks. She even wished this event will always be celebrated every year.

EU Librarians Launched Book-a-Librarian Program

book-a-librarian wtih scheduleUniversity Libraries launched a new service oriented program which is called “Book-a Librarian”.
Book-a-Librarian is a personalized library service wherein students got to talk, ask questions and have a one on one session for half an hour to one hour uninterrupted discussion with the librarian.
The students need to fill-in the Book-a-Librarian Request Form available at the Reference and Filipiniana Section.
Appointments can be made Tuesday-Saturday between 9:00-11:00 and 1:004:00 at the Reference and Filipiniana Section of the University Libraries.The program aims to personally help student/s  with their research and library problems. The University Libraries established the said program to enhance student’s library skills and to increase library usage.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATE STUDIES

The Graduate Education Scholarships for Faculty and Staff (CMO 3, s. 2016) has two goals: to mitigate impact on labor and to upgrade qualifications of faculty. The Commission through the K to 12 Transition Program is offering full scholarships for master’s and doctoral degrees for faculty and staff during the transition period. Higher education institutions (HEIs) are invited to nominate their qualified faculty and staff to earn graduate degrees.

This page contains forms for the scholarship nomination, guidelines via pertinent CMOs, and presentations from workshops in relation to the graduate scholarships.

  • Transcript of Records (certified true copy)
  • Curriculum Vitae (using template)
  • One-page thesis/dissertation proposal (faculty with ongoing Master’s/Doctoral studies)
  • Re-entry plan and return service contract

  • Proof of citizenship (NSO authenticated birth certificate, information page of valid passport, voter’s ID) (send only one; photocopy)
  • Medical certificate issued by a government physician within the last 6 months and medical exam results (original)

The K to 12 Transition Project Management Unit traveled around the Philippines to conduct nomination workshops that will inform higher education institutions (HEIs) on effectively nominating their faculty and staff for graduate scholarships this June SY 2016-2017.
